Mohamed El-Fatatry

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Mohamed is a Finland-based Egyptian entrepreneur with a track record for tailoring technology to the Muslim lifestyle in innovative ways. More than a decade before popular photo-sharing websites such as Flickr, he created web pages where he and his friends could publish and comment on photographs and by the age of 16, he became a web development instructor at the Emirates Institute of Technology. Coming from a Computer Science background, he has already been called in some circles the "Linus Torvalds" of the Muslim world, and has been named among the world's "500 Most Influential Muslims".

Stephen Lee

Chief Operating Officer

Stephen has co-founded and led several social media, mobile software and consulting companies. With a degree in Mechanical engineering and MBA from the Helsinki School of Economics, Steve brings to Muxlim 20+ years of experience from companies including Bosch, General Motors, and WapIt.

Tuomas Tahvanainen

Chief Financial Officer

Tuomas is a partner and board member at the Leppävaaran Laskenta Oy. His previous positions include Accounting Consultant and he has over 10 years of experience in the accounting industry in Finland. He is currently finishing his M.Sc. (Econ) at the Helsinki School of Economics.

Jussi Vaihia

Chief Web Developer

Jussi is an avid designer of Web 2.0 services, with over 6 years of experience in pure web development. His latest creation is FeedRaider, a light-weight fully customizable RSS aggregator.

Samppa, a talented software engineer capable of creating innovative web applications swiftly and robustly. His main areas of expertise are image manipulation and video processing.

Zaufishan Iqbal [Profile]

Zaufishan is a student 'scientist' in ASL and BSL and is currently completing an arts and science degree. She has spent two decades learning and experiencing the cultural psychologies of civilisations, 'to find the strengths in people so they may exploit them for the development of society and learn the value of freedom'. She also owns a design business, enjoys extreme sports, and can be found covered in sparkles, blogging on a beloved Macbook and resting on a tree branch deep within the English hills.

Colleen Eisha Tracey-Raza [Profile]

Languages: English, French

Eisha, holds a degree in Sociology, DSW and SBOA certificates. Currently working for an internationally known organization, the Red Cross, as a Community HealthCare Assistant. Prior to that job, she worked with the developmentally delayed people who strive to live independently in a community with a 'community centered' agency for ten years. She is deaf and very fluent in American Sign Language - ASL, as well as MSL/BSL if necessary. She is also fluent in French but she doesn't always brag about her hidden talents.
